You can integrate Retention.com's Grow product directly with Yotpo SMS & Email.

An integration between Retention.com and Yotpo does three things:

  1. Automatically sends contacts acquired in your Retention.com account to Yotpo into a list of your choosing (these are your GROW contacts).

  2. Automatically suppresses existing contacts in your Yotpo account.

  3. Ability to set up custom filters to sync filters (ie, send leads from different domains to different lists or ESPs).

Our Reclaim product is also available for Yotpo SMS & Email in order to send product and cart abandonment events as well as trigger abandonment emails (i.e. Add to Cart emails).

Set up the integration

1. Open up your Retention.com dashboard. From the navigation menu on the left, select Integrations > Available Integrations. Then, search for Yotpo and click the icon.

2. Select the box to "Activate Grow" and then click Connect.

3. This will open a window to give Retention.com access to Yotpo. If you're not logged into your Yotpo account via Shopify, you will need to login first.

4. Once you're logged in, you'll be taken to this screen to give Retention.com access. Click Next.

5. Then, click Connect to authorize the integration.

6. Once the integration is complete, you be taken to the integration page. Here you can find more information and Enable, Disable, and Remove the integration.


What type of data is passed with Grow Contacts?

Grow collects several dynamic data points that are attached to the end user's profile. These include:

  • Email address

  • Timestamp: The exact time when a visitor is on the site or performs a specific action.

  • Landing page URL: The URL of the page where the visitor landed during a particular session.

  • Landing page domain

  • Page title (if and when possible)

  • Referrer: This is the URL the contact comes to your site from.

These data points are variable attributes that are updated with every new interaction or event.


Integration Settings

From your Integration settings, you can access, change, or update any of the following:

  • Your API key

  • Grow or Reclaim Activation

  • Suppression settings

  • Grow Sync settings, including the list you're syncing contacts to

To access any of these settings, go to your Retention.com dashboard and click Integrations > Dots > Settings.
