You will not have access to your Script Status toggle until your Implementation Manager has approved your account to begin collecting contacts.
After this, you may turn your Retention.com collection script off at any time.
To turn off your script, click on your Dashboard and toggle the script On or Off. You will receive a pop-up notification in the top-right corner letting you know you've turned it On or Off.
Note that if you run out of contact records and have a plan where Overages are Off, your script will automatically turn off until your monthly billing cycle starts over, at which point the script will automatically turn back on. If you run out of contact records and do not want to wait for your plan to reset, you can upgrade your subscription by reaching out to your sales rep to resume contact collection. The start of your billing cycle is tied to your account’s go-live date, meaning it resets on the same date each month. However, billing transactions may not process exactly at midnight, and the collection process resumes later in the day once the billing transaction is completed. This ensures accurate updates before the script is re-enabled. Additionally, if your script was turned off due to hitting the monthly cap, it will automatically re-enable when the billing cycle resets, aligning seamlessly with your billing cycle.
Why didn’t my collection reset at midnight? Scheduled billing transactions may not process exactly at midnight. The collection will resume later in the day once the billing transaction completes.
