Integrate Retention.com Reclaim with Klaviyo (via App in Klaviyo Marketplace)

Seamlessly integrate Retention.com Reclaim into Klaviyo using the official Retention.com Klaviyo App.

Important:

The Reclaim integration is separate from the Grow integration. Even though both deliver data into Klaviyo, they operate independently and require distinct setup steps. Be sure to follow the specific Reclaim instructions below to ensure a smooth and complete integration.

Step 1: Access Integrations in Retention.com

  1. Log in to your Retention.com account.

  2. From the left menu, select Integrations.

  3. Search for Klaviyo App Email Integration.

  4. Click Add Now.

  5. A popup will appear — click Connect. This will redirect you to your Klaviyo login.

Step 2. Connect Your Klaviyo Account

  1. Log into your Klaviyo account and choose the Klaviyo account to install the app into.

  2. Click Continue.

  3. Approve all requested permissions. These permissions allow Retention.com to sync Reclaim events properly.

Step 3. Validate the Connection

Once access is granted:

  1. Return to your Retention.com account.

  2. Navigate to Integrations.

  3. Locate the Klaviyo App Email integration.

  4. Hover over it → click the three vertical dots → select Settings.

  5. In Integration Settings, find Reclaim Sync and click the edit pencil.

  6. Toggle Sync Events → Yes, then Save.

  7. At the top of the integration, switch the main toggle from Disabled → Enabled.

Step 4: Verify the Connection in Klaviyo

Within Klaviyo:

  1. Navigate to Metrics.

  2. You should now see Reclaim-related metrics such as:

    • Active on Site Reclaim, Viewed Category Reclaim, Viewed Product Reclaim, Add to Cart Reclaim and Checkout Started Reclaim

Note on Permissions & Data Usage:

In addition to syncing Reclaim behavioral events into Klaviyo, this integration also uses the Profiles permission scope to maintain an audience sync on Retention.com’s side. This enables identity resolution and helps match anonymous visitors to known profiles, improving the accuracy and effectiveness of Reclaim. By enabling this integration, you are allowing Retention.com to access profile data in support of these matching and syncing capabilities.
